On Board Celebrity Flora

Departure Date: 1 January 1970

Duration: Nights

All Suite Luxury Mega Yacht

Celebrity Flora® is the first ship of its kind to be built especially for the Galápagos Islands. This 100 passenger all-suite mega-yacht features our innovative outward-facing concept—designed to ensure the destination remains the centre of attention during your sailing. Inspired by the islands and built with natural materials, the ship merges seamlessly with the surroundings, giving you a feeling of total immersion. To bring you an even more in-depth experience, certified naturalists from the Galápagos National Park are on board to guide the journey.

Proving you can practice responsible tourism and deliver ultimate luxury at the same time, Celebrity Flora was built with the latest environmental technologies. The dynamic positioning system allows the mega-yacht to remain on station without dropping anchors, protecting the seabed—and the solar panels supplement electricity, reducing emissions. The result is one of the most eco-friendly ships sailing anywhere—just one reason Celebrity Flora was voted “Best Overall Cruise Ship” in 2019.

Designed to Deliver Your Dream Vacation

Celebrity Flora, the first ship of its kind to be designed and built specifically with this destination in mind. Every space, including the all-suites accommodations, features our innovative outward-facing concept, so the destination is the centre of attention at every turn.

Godmother: Yolanda Kakabadse

With our passionate focus on environmentalism in the Galapagos Islands, our choice for Celebrity Flora’s Godmother was an easy one to make—Yolanda Kakabadse. She’s a prominent environmental leader and a champion of sustainable development and biodiversity preservation. Yolanda is a former Minister of Environment for the Republic of Ecuador and a former president of both the International Union for Conservation of Nature and World Wildlife Fund International. She has dedicated her career to leaving the world a better place, which is exactly why she’s the perfect fit.

Adriana Hoyos

World-renowned designer and Ecuadorian native, Adriana Hoyos’ furniture collection for Flora is inspired by the landscape and character of the diverse islands of the Galapagos. She uses local elements that connect organically with the environment, which helps make Flora as unique as the Galapagos Islands themselves.

Francesca Bucci

Our talented and trusted Celebrity partner of more than 20 years, Francesca Bucci of BG Studio International of New York, executed our vision for Flora. Francesca’s design concept emphasised sustainability and luxury throughout the ship by sourcing upscale and sustainable materials from the region. Flora pairs exquisite custom furnishings with intimate spaces that blend seamlessly with the sea, the islands, and the sky above. The design invites you to celebrate the magnificent environment and connect with your surroundings from anywhere you are on Flora.

Rebecca Wilson

One of the finishing touches that makes Celebrity Flora one-of-a-kind is the work Rebecca Wilson did to curate a coherent collection of original art that was specific to the Galapagos and could be found nowhere else except Flora. All of the art is inspired by the flora and fauna of the Galapagos. It’s an incredibly rich environment, and the reason people know about the Galapagos and want to go there is for its natural habitat.
